Dr. El Kinge completed his postdoctoral studies in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology / Oncology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He was trained in Breast Cancer in MD Anderson Cancer Center and he is certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology. Dr. El Kinge is adjunct clinical professor in University of Sharjah. He is on the editorial board and a reviewer in multiple international medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of local and international Hematology and Oncology Societies. He has multiple peer-reviewed publications. He is currently Head of the Department of Hematology / Medical Oncology In NMC Royal Sharjah and Fakeeh University Hospital, Dubai and Chairperson of the Institutional review board. He has special focus in Precision Medicine and Artificial Intelligence.

He is currently caring patient with head and neck and breast cancer .He is involved in multiple ongoing research. and he is involved in teaching junior staff, and involved in multiple committees

Dr. Adam Nelson is currently working at Tawam Hospital in the capacity of a consultant radiologist in Al Ain. UAE since 2022-present. He is involved in Neuro-oncology and Neurology MDTs at Tawam Hospital. He obtained his FRCR in 2013 and CCT in 2016 and has worked as a consultant radiologist since Then. He completed his training in Clinical radiology with a fellowship in Neuroradiology from the Walton centre, institute of neurosurgery and neurology in Liverpool. He has since then worked as consultant Neuroradiologist at the Institute of neurosurgery and neurology at Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow and thereafter at the Royal Victoria hospital in Belfast. He has a keen interest with experience in Neuro-oncology, Epilepsy and Neuro-inflammatory conditions. He obtained his diploma in neuroradiology from the European Board of neuroradiology in 2018. He has an extensive background in general surgery and neurosurgery having completed a Masters in general surgery in 2002 and also his membership of the Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016.

The main focus of his work is Urological Oncology, Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery and Laparoscopic surgery. Dr Aftab A Bhatti graduated from the University of Punjab, Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan. He completed his higher urological training from the Northern Deanery, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Dr Aftab Bhatti has published over 40 peer reviewed publications and his area of research interest includes kidney and prostate cancer. the area of his interest includes active surveillance for the low risk prostate cancer, surgical anatomy of prostate, refinements to surgical techniques for robotic assisted radical prostatectomy and surgical outcomes of the high risk prostate cancer and prognostic markers for the kidney cancer.

He previously served as Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Mafraq Hospital for 14 years. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine at Aleppo University/Syria. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado. He is American Board Certified and recertified in Internal medicine in 1992, 2002 and 2012, in Medical Oncology in 1999,2009 and 2019 and in Hematology in 1999, 2009 and 2019. Dr. Maarraoui authored and co-authored several abstracts and articles on Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Thyroid Cancer, lung cancer and Lymphoma focusing on these diseases in UAE.

He then did a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at McGill University in Canada. He was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals and Honorary lecturer at the Norwich School of Medicine in 2012. Dr Farghal moved to the UAE in 2017. His main interest is Vascular and Non vascular intervention . He is currently leading the Urology MDT at Tawam hospital.

Dr Mukherji completed her advanced specialty training in Medical Oncology at Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust, London UK and was awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma in Oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London in 2011. On completion of her advanced specialty training Dr Mukherji joined the Royal Marsden Hospital London specializing in clinical research and drug development with a focus on prostate cancer. Dr Mukherji joined the faculty of the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in June 2012 and currently an associate professor of clinical medicine, she joined Clemenceau Medical Center Dubai UAE as a consultant medical oncologist in October 2022. Dr Mukherji specializes in GI and GU medical oncology. She is currently an ESMO faculty member for the genitourinary tumors prostate group and a panel member for the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC).

Dr. Trad is certified as a specialist in internal medicine, hematology and oncology by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Hassan Shahryar is a consultant in medical oncology and haematology at the Sheikh Shakbout Medical City (SSMC) in partnership with Mayo Clinic and an adjunct clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is Diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Medical Oncology and Haematology. He obtained undergraduate medical education from Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan and post-graduate residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine, Haematology and Medical Oncology from Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania, USA. He also completed fellowship training in Geriatrics from the University of Rochester, New York. He was selected to the Futures Scholar Program by the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) in 2009. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Penn State University from 2012 till 2015 and Division Chief of Medical Oncology at Jeanes Hospital in 2016 prior to returning to Pakistan in 2017. Dr Jamal Alkoteesh is one of the founder of Interventional Radiology speciality in UAE and he is the longest served (15 YEARS) Interventional Radiologist in SEHA/Abu Dhabi Emirates .He was the first DOH licensed Interventional Radiologists in Abu Dhabi Emirates. Dr. ALkoteesh started working in SEHA as the chief of Interventional Radiology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical city between 2007-2010 where he also managed and established the first Radiology Residency Program in Abu Dhabi Emirate and become the first Radiology residency program director in 2009 when took the challenge to train UAE junior doctors to become the Radiologists of the future.

She earned her BSc in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jordan University of Science and Technology-Jordan, then had her MSc degree in Clinical Pharmacy from UCL, school of pharmacy/UK. She conducted her clinical training at Barts’ and the London NHS hospital trust-London. Lina is board certified oncology pharmacist. She maintains a primary clinical practice in Tawam oncology unit, and leading the Medication use evaluation committees. Lina has been having a major role in optimizing patient care in addition to creating and updating the oncology protocols. During her career, Lina worked as a clinical pharmacist in different institutions. She established the clinical pharmacy services in the paediatric oncology ward at King Hussein cancer centre- Amman/Jordan. She has many publications in addition to different abstracts that had been presented in the UK clinical pharmacy association conference, the American Society of Health System Pharmacists association (ASHP), Emirates Oncology Conference, and in the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice (JOPP). Finally, Lina is the principal pharmacist in a number of Phase III multinational RCTs which are involving investigational chemotherapeutic and targeted agents.

He has an interest in body cross sectional imaging with specialized areas of interest in chest, hepato-biliary and urological imaging. He is actively involved in lung cancer research and he was part of the large multicenter UK clinical trial (SPUtNik trial) looking at the diagnostic accuracy and cost effectiveness of Contrast enhanced CT and PET CT in characterization of solitary pulmonary nodule. He also published several papers on imaging and diagnosis of lung cancer.

In addition to his role as a consultant, he pioneered, established and was the previous director of the first Hematology Fellowship program in the Abu Dhabi UAE and currently active hematology and medicine Faculty. He attended Medical School at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and then pursued a degree in Internal Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He further completed a subspecialty degree in Leukemia and Bone Marrow Transplant at the British Colombia Cancer Centre, Canada. He has worked in several countries across the world and helped establish cancer departments in India, Botswana, Bahrain and Antigua and Barbuda. Dr. Saeed Rafii is a UK trained and board certified consultant medical oncologist. After completion of his primary medical degree he was trained in internal medicine followed by subspeciality training in medical oncology in two of the most prestigious cancer hospitals in the UK, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. He then completed clinical fellowship in early phase clinical trials at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London and received his CCT (certificate of completion of training) from the UK General Medical Council. Dr Rafii was subsequently appointed as associate professor and consultant in medical oncology at the University of Manchester and the Christie hospital, one of the largest cancer hospitals in Europe, where he helped to establish and expand the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She was a board member of the Pathology division of Emirates Medical Association 2010-2013. She is a member of the Society of Paedatric Pathology. She presented at a number of local and interantional pathology and oncology meetings. She contributed to research on cervical neoplasia, head and neck cancer and prostatic cancer in local population. He also achieved clinical oncology Fellowship in 2004. He worked as a consultant clinical oncologist in University Hospitals of North Midlands from 2004 to 2022 until his appointment to Tawam Hospitals in September 2022. During his time in Stoke he held several additional roles including being services lead, audit lead, research lead, appraiser and clinical tutor. Professor Suhail Al-Salam (MBChB, MSc.Path, FIBMS.Path, EBP, FRCPath) is a professor of pathology and chair of the department of pathology and leader of the Oncology Research Priority Group at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. In addition, Professor Al-Salam is a consultant pathologist at Tawam hospital with providing clinical service in surgical pathology for almost 20 years, and he is one of few experts in CNS tumors pathology in the UAE. Professor Al-Salam has published 144 original articles in international peer reviewed journals, with many of them are published in prestigious journals. His research is in the areas of Cancer, and molecular changes in cardiovascular and kidney diseases. Professor Al-Salam has been awarded many research grants and has oral presentations at many local and international scientific meetings. Professor Al-Salam supervised a number of PhD and master students. Professor Al-Salam is the winner of Abu Dhabi Medical distinction award 2011, and many excellence in Teaching, and Scholar Awards.
